No. 9 - Church of the Holy Nativity Bishopsbourne

The Anglican Church of the Holy Nativity, built in 1844 and opened 25 April 1845.
Bishopsbourne was the site of Christ College, which was later incorporated into the University of Tasmania in Hobart. The Mercury reported on the centenary of the College in 1946, and made reference to the local church:

"Half-a-mile away, on another rise, surrounded by tombstones, is the over-a-century-old parish church bearing the dedication of "The Holy Nativity," where capped-and-gowned students attended service. On the wall of the little church is a memorial tablet commemorating Canon E. P. Adams, an early member of Christ's College."
